The Receiving Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving incoming parts and pulling parts for orders, performing a variety of complicated tasks while handling unique requests and opportunities, and assembling PVC and small skids. Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Compensation: $23-35/hour Responsibilities Process incoming shipments and ensure stock levels are recorded properly Pull parts and materials against production orders and planning lines Update ERP software for all receiving and parts pulling transactions Support accuracy of inventory management system including cycle and annual inventory counts Clean and organize receiving area and maintain receiving supply levels Operate the vertical inventory Kardex machine Be the contact person for incoming carrier correspondence Manage outgoing UPS shipments Assist with PVC manufacturing, shipping and order preparation duties Qualifications Understanding of production orders Understanding of receiving methods Ability to use Microsoft products and ERP software High School Diploma 2 -3+ years shipping and receiving or related experience Forklift experience required Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner. Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction. Standing and walking for sustained periods of time. Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time. Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force. Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. EEO/AA/F/M/Vet/Disabled
