Call Center-based Insurance Services Specialist
role. This is a non-patient-facing position, focused on completing insurance verifications, authorizations, and financial screenings over the phone to ensure timely reimbursement for services across our health system. Key Responsibilities:
Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations Perform financial screenings using Epic and other systems Review and interpret insurance and medical documentation Understand and apply relevant medical terminology for authorization processes What Were Looking For:

position High school diploma or equivalent (required) Clerical or healthcare insurance experience (required) Experience with Epic EMR (preferred) Strong phone communication, computer, and analytical skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Join a team that plays a critical role behind the scenes, helping patients get the care they need while supporting one of the most respected health systems in Southwest Florida. Requires extensive computer knowledge and analytical experience to navigate and interpret the information provided by a multitude of entities. Requires prioritization, detail orientation, organized, flexible while working within high volume work queues.
