Location This role is remote within the eastern or central US, requiring travel across the country, especially in IL, OH, MI, IN, PA, TN, MD, NJ, & WV. Candidates should reside near a major airport in the Great Lakes, Mid-West, or Mid-Atlantic regions or near our offices for hybrid work. Travel expenses are covered. Primary Purpose Reporting to the Executive Director of Regional Sales, the Senior Manager will lead a team of Business Development Managers, focusing on acquiring new energy efficiency infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with growth objectives, and developing a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities include managing sales activities, driving territory development, mentoring, and ensuring sales metrics are met. Primary Duties Leading business development, managing and coaching a team of BDMs, developing sales strategies, conducting pipeline reviews, supporting customer meetings, and managing sales forecasts and KPIs. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of consultative sales experience in energy-related industries or equivalent experience, along with prior sales management experience and a proven track record in complex sales and team leadership. Strong analytical, communication, and CRM skills are essential. Preferred Qualifications Over 4 years of sales management, knowledge of building and mechanical systems, experience in energy efficiency and sustainability projects, long sales cycles, formal sales training, and familiarity with CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365.
