The Acquisition Data Analyst will provide recommendations and reports using data-driven insights and will translate complex datasets into actionable intelligence that supports acquisition planning and reporting. The Analyst will possess a keen understanding of federal performance metrics and the ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leadership.
Required Skills
Support the development, collection, maintenance, review, and assessment of acquisitions data that supports the federal agency client’s decisions Analyze data on the performance of the federal client’s acquisition efforts. Perform senior-level acquisition analyses requiring a thorough understanding of program/project management principles Provide senior-level understanding and experience regarding data collection, analysis, and reporting methods Expert understanding of federal systems, including correspondence tracking and performance metrics Identify and plan requirements for acquisition program performance data analytics, including reported activities, methods, and frequency of collection, and methods and frequency of reporting Understanding of data collection methodologies and assumptions behind metrics Statistical analysis and interpretation Prior experience supporting senior leadership or working within DHS, OMB, the U.S. Armed Forces, or federal security agencies
Experience And Education Qualifications
Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in federal data analytics, performance management, or executive-level reporting Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related discipline
