The Analyst will possess a keen understanding of federal performance metrics and the ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leadership.

The Acquisition Data Analyst will provide recommendations and reports using data-driven insights and will translate complex datasets into actionable intelligence that supports acquisition planning and reporting. The Analyst will possess a keen understanding of federal performance metrics and the ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leadership.
Required Skills

  • Support the development, collection, maintenance, review, and assessment of acquisitions data that supports the federal agency client’s decisions
  • Analyze data on the performance of the federal client’s acquisition efforts.
  • Perform senior-level acquisition analyses requiring a thorough understanding of program/project management principles
  • Provide senior-level understanding and experience regarding data collection, analysis, and reporting methods
  • Expert understanding of federal systems, including correspondence tracking and performance metrics
  • Identify and plan requirements for acquisition program performance data analytics, including reported activities, methods, and frequency of collection, and methods and frequency of reporting
  • Understanding of data collection methodologies and assumptions behind metrics
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation
  • Prior experience supporting senior leadership or working within DHS, OMB, the U.S. Armed Forces, or federal security agencies
Experience And Education Qualifications
  • Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in federal data analytics, performance management, or executive-level reporting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related discipline
