American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification for a day shift contract.Job Details•Position is in a hospital cardiology department, performing adult echocardiograms,•Day shifts, 5x8 hours, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,•Weekend coverage required as needed and rotated among staff,•On-call duties assigned after successful orientation and by sign-up, with at least 1 day per month expected,•No floating required to other units,•Utilizes GE, Philips, and PACS imaging equipment,•Bi-weekly orientation provided,•Gray scrubs are required attire,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer, though less may be considered for hard-to-fill positions,•Current ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification required and BLS certification required,•Experience with GE, Philips, and PACS systems,•Must be able to provide 1 supervisory reference from the last year,•Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions accepted,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Performs echocardiography on adult patients in a fast-paced hospital setting,•First-time travelers are accepted for this position,•Local candidates are considered at a lower rate if residing within 75 miles,•Modules required during orientation and annually, with completion tracked via transcripts and facility reports,•Time off (RTO) requests must be submitted in advance and are limited to 5-7 days per contract,•A full SSN and date of birth must be provided for job consideration,],•hash,:•16192348471385629693,
