American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and current BLS and ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) certification for an acute care hospital assignment.Job Details•Position is in an acute care hospital setting,•Work in the Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer unit,•Manage a daily caseload of 8-12 cases per technician,•Schedule options include Monday-Friday 4x10 hour shifts (6a-4:30p) or 3x12 hour shifts (6a-6:30p),•Weekend call rotation required: Noon Sunday to 7am Monday and weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 8am to Noon,•No floating between service lines or to sister facilities,•EMR is Epic; experience preferred,•Radiation badge must be provided,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer,•BLS from the American Heart Association required,•Certification required: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS),•Experience with Epic EMR is preferred,•Willingness to train new hires is required,•First-time travelers will not be considered,•Candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered at a lower local pay rate,•Radiation badge required,•Social Security Number and Driver's License required for consideration,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Must be willing to assist with training and onboarding of new staff,•Scrub color: Navy or Seal Blue,•Modules must be completed pre-start as part of onboarding process,•Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before being eligible,•All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to assignment approval,•During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams,•Free parking available on-site,],•hash,:•11399209688805536261,
