Avid Systems is a Washington, DC-based IT solutions firm specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure. We deliver modern, mission-critical applications for public- and private-sector clients. We are seeking a Power Pages Developer with strong front-end skills, a solid software development foundation, and hands-on experience with C# plugin development to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Power Pages Developer will be responsible for building secure, scalable web portals using Microsoft Power Pages, while also contributing to backend business logic using C# and Dataverse plugins. This role requires both strong low-code expertise and professional software development skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy modern, secure Power Pages web portals integrated with Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Develop C# plugins and custom workflow activities to extend Dataverse logic and ensure high-performance business rule execution.
  • Integrate portals with external systems using REST APIs, Power Automate flows, and Azure Functions.
  • Configure portal authentication (e.g., Azure AD B2C), web roles, and access control.
  • Follow software development best practices: code reuse, source control, modular design, and documentation.
  • Participate in Agile development teams and provide technical input throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, security, and functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing with Microsoft Power Pages and Power Platform .
  • Proficiency with C# development in the context of Dataverse plugins, custom workflow activities, and Azure Functions.
  • Solid understanding of relational data modeling and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Experience with integrating Power Platform applications with third-party systems and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, SAML, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for contract eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other Power Platform components (Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory.
  • Microsoft certifications (PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, AZ-204) are highly desirable.
