Sponsorship Sales Director – Music Evolved Records

Music Evolved Records is a tech-based Label-as-a-Service and the powerhouse behind the Ebonized Chill Tour — a music & mental health movement featuring R&B, comedy, wellness panels, and community engagement. In 2025, we’re hitting 10 U.S. cities with plans to go global by 2027. Our mission: to heal, inspire, and uplift through entertainment and mental wellness advocacy.
We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sponsorship Sales Director to spearhead sponsorship sales for the Ebonized Chill Tour — and MER other events, securing corporate partners, sponsors, and exhibitors across all tour stops. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can sell, manage, and scale.
Compensation & Incentives
Monthly Retainer: $750/month, paid bi-weekly ($350 every two weeks). Will be raised to $1500 per month, if the sponsorship team hits it's goal consecutively over 60 days.
Commissions:
30% commission on all personally closed deals (paid within 72 business hours after payment clears)
10% residual commission on renewals or multi-event deals
Overrides & Bonuses:
5% monthly override on team sales (2–4 Sponsorship Sales Reps)
1% of net revenue from all events
Promotion Path: Eligible for VP of Sponsorship Sales after 12 months of consistent high performance.
Bonus Plan: Performance-based bonuses tied to KPIs (see below).
What You’ll Do
Sell sponsorship, partnership, and exhibitor packages for the Ebonized Chill Tour .
Act as a player-coach : close deals personally while managing and mentoring a team of 2–4 Sponsorship Sales Reps.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate brands, small businesses, nonprofits, and community partners.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure delivery of promised benefits.
Collaborate with the events and marketing team to execute sponsor activations.
Track sales activity, pipeline, and KPIs in our CRM.
Travel to all tour stops and MER eventsand related sponsor meetings.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
The Sponsorship Sales Director and team will be expected to hit weekly benchmarks:
Personal Sales: Minimum of $10,000+ in sponsorship/exhibitor sales per month ($3,500+ weekly).
Team Sales: Team must generate a combined $25,000+ per month ($6,250+ weekly).
Meetings: Minimum of 10 qualified sponsor meetings per week (combined team).
Pipeline Growth: Add at least 20 new prospects per rep weekly into the CRM.

What We’re Looking For
Proven sponsorship sales experience (concerts, festivals, sports, expos, or similar ).
Strong ability to network, pitch, and close high-value deals .
Experience managing a sales team of 2–4 reps.
Willingness to travel to tour cities, events and sponsor meetings.
Creative, resourceful, and persistent in securing opportunities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Must be able to start immediately .
Must be committed to a long-term role with Music Evolved Records, with a clear growth path into VP of Sponsorship Sales .
