Our client is an established and respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a food ingredient sales professional, based in Northern California, Oregon, or Washington to cover accounts throughout a specific geographical territory.
Candidate Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years minimum experience in B2B sales of food ingredients or chemicals
- Prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of functional food ingredients in a sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is required
- Already have contacts established with food and beverage manufacturers
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel – on average - 3 days a week to visit accounts
- A valid drivers license (with no DUIs)
- A confident and hard-working attitude.
- Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.
