Regional Sales Manager, Food Ingredients

Our client is an established and respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a food ingredient sales professional, based in Northern California, Oregon, or Washington to cover accounts throughout a specific geographical territory. Candidate Attributes: Bachelor's degree required 3 years minimum experience in B2B sales of food ingredients or chemicals Prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of functional food ingredients in a sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is required Already have contacts established with food and beverage manufacturers Excellent negotiation skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Excellent time management and prioritization skills Ability to travel on average - 3 days a week to visit accounts A valid drivers license (with no DUIs) A confident and hard-working attitude.
