Job Title: Technical Product Owner (TPO) Contract/ Contract to hire Minneapolis MN

Responsibilities:

Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate Agile ceremonies including sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Coach and mentor team members in Agile and Scrum best practices. Foster effective internal communication and cross-functional collaboration. Serve as the primary point of contact for external communications (e.g., stakeholders, customers). Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs and prioritize new requests. Identify and remove impediments or obstacles that hinder team progress. Support change management and guide teams in adopting improvements. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint. Drive continuous improvement and support the team in reaching higher levels of Scrum maturity. Cultivate a positive, ownership-driven team culture that values collaboration and innovation. Lead the end-to-end innovation and launch of new products. Collaborate with digital business partners and vendors to co-develop roadmaps and deliver features in a fast-paced environment. Work with cross-functional teams including design, analytics, engineering, and enablement to bring products to life. Translate data insights into actionable product enhancements. Continuously evaluate business needs, prioritize initiatives, define milestones, and assess risks. Partner with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and prioritization. Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap in alignment with business goals. Translate roadmap initiatives into clear product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing stakeholder needs. Lead the product functional design process, grounded in deep understanding of user needs and technical feasibility. Define and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales. Monitor and report on post-launch product performance to guide future investments.

Qualifications: Top 5 Must-Have Skills:

Strong analytical and collaboration skills. Technical proficiency and understanding of system design and interactions. Excellent documentation abilities (technical specs, process flows, interaction diagrams, etc.). Highly organized with attention to detail. A continuous drive for improvement and innovation.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner Strong familiarity with software development processes Deep knowledge of Scrum methodologies and Agile practices (e.g., definition of done, user stories, backlog grooming, automated testing) Solid understanding of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe) Excellent communication and servant leadership skills Proven ability to resolve conflicts and foster team collaboration Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field Scrum Master certification is a plus
