Household Staffing
Private Manhattan family looking to hire an meticulous, friendly and experienced Kid-friendly Housekeeper/Cook for their Tribeca home. Ideal candidate must be able to do the housekeeping, cook simple family dinners, go food shopping and do the family laundry. Must be tech savvy on the computer to order household supplies and food deliveries and be a proficient texter. Must also be available to work/live-in in the Hamptons Thursday - Sunday for 6-8 weeks in summer months (you will go home on off days).
Work days and hours : Monday - Friday 12pm - 8:00pm live out in Manhattan and live-in in Hamptons for the 6-8 weeks in the summer (Thursday - Sunday schedule in the Hamptons).
Typical day:
The ideal candidate will start their day by efficiently tidying the kitchen and bedrooms, collect laundry, clean bathrooms, iron as necessary, run errands, grocery shop, open packages, keep closets and drawers organized and importantly, prepare and serve healthy snacks and dinner and leave the residence in good order before leaving for the day.
What Works Best for the Family : They would like someone warm with a positive, can do attitude, resourceful, experienced, self starter. Spanish speaking is a plus but English must be good to communicate and follow verbal and written instructions. The candidate should respect family time and the fact that mom works from home.
