About the Senior Salesforce Developer role... The Senior Salesforce Developer is an important role in the Salesforce team who is expected to be hands on and also ensure that the team are technically equipped and are following the right design principles and standards. Senior Salesforce Developer is highly experienced and knowledgeable in Classic and Lightning framework (Aura and LWC) and is equipped to drive the organisation and the team towards lightning. We are looking for someone who is proficient in building and maintaining complex integrations with an end goal of achieving Customer 360 view in the platform. What you'll do... The technical landscape is quite complex and exciting with multiple integration points. There is a huge backlog of exciting projects with primary focus being digitising entire customer journey and bolstering the integration between Salesforce and other SiteMinder systems such as SiteMinder product suite, Marketo, Zuora and range of other COTS products and homegrown systems Establish Understanding and Command Work with the technical and business teams to get a good grasp of our business and system landscape (Salesforce and Integrations)

Maintain and update the technical documentation including but not limited to System Landscape, Integration Manifest, Data Model, Object Manifest, Sharing Architecture etc

Liaise with Onshore/Offshore team and act as technical touchpoint and technical quality gatekeeper of the team

Over a period of time, develop command and technical ownership of the current org

Technical Leadership Represent Salesforce team in technical workshops with other engineering teams within SiteMinder - you will be supported by another experienced Salesforce developer in this regard

Jointly own the entire Salesforce architecture and make/drive design decisions that to build best-in-class Salesforce solutions for SiteMinder

Inception & Roadmap Collaborate with BA and business stakeholders on projects & enhancements to understand requirements and support in grooming the backlog

Perform technical Proof of Concept as required

Assist building product roadmap by providing high level estimates and designs

Execute Work collaboratively within the current Agile delivery construct

Independently design solutions for projects considering current implementation and assessing impacts.

Build, test and deploy solutions either independently or working collaboratively with the team

Own the end to end delivery of assigned projects including team's throughput

Continuous Improvement Key contributor to Lightning adoption and pathway for development using LWC

Technical ownership of the current org, mentor and groom the potential future hires on lightning development and best practices related to declarative and coding

Maintain Collaboratively own the platform and be responsible to cater to BAU production issues pertaining to code (Admin function is responsible for all other declarative issues)

Perform impact analysis and remediation actions required to accommodate Salesforce releases

Provide knowledge sharing sessions on new features and identify implementation opportunities which might benefit the business

Last but not least - Mentor and ramp-up team members and evolve as a technical leader

What you have... Self motivated technical leader with high levels of integrity and passion

Minimum 7+ years of experience in Salesforce Development and expertise across Sales, Service and Community clouds

Application/System Architect certified

Expert in Lightning Aura framework and strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Expertise in building and maintaining complex integrations, especially using REST APIs

Extensive experience in designing and documenting optimal and scalable solutions based to address requirements

Extensive experience conducting design workshops and finalising design approach with wider teams

Proven ability to independently perform development, testing and deployment

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical designs and help team in identifying technical tasks to address the requirements

Extensive experience and passion in coaching and mentoring the team on technical best practices. Experienced in using/implementing version control, effective sandbox management, and deployments using automated CI/CD tools, Gearset, Git, DX, Force.com IDE and Change sets

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with data modelling and integration design.

Hands-on experience with MuleSoft for enterprise system integration

Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Einstein AI features

Exposure to Revenue Cloud will be an advantage

Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations

Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective
