About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to take on a pivotal role in leading its accounting and finance functions. This hands-on position is primarily focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and managing investment-related financial activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and managing processes such as investor distributions and capital calls for syndicated real estate investments. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to partner with external accountants on tax filings, build and maintain financial models, and develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.

Applicants for the CFO role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years' progressive accounting and finance experience, particularly in real estate investment or development, is required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of real estate syndication structures and investor reporting, as well as proficiency in accounting software and Excel-based financial modeling. Experience in a private company environment and a comfort with a lean, hands-on role are essential. The role demands a highly detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, who can also lead budgeting, forecasting, and work on strategic financial planning with the ownership.
