Job Description:

The NoSQL DBA will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining NoSQL database clusters in Linux environments. This includes supporting multiple application teams with production and non-production environments.

Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for NoSQL databases Automate installations and maintenance using shell scripting Debug and tune performance issues Use DevOps tools like Bladelogic to create and manage jobs Identify and resolve inefficiencies in database systems Plan and implement capacity and scalability improvements Help developers with schema changes and database access Manage upgrades and migrations of database systems Minimum Qualifications:

At least 5+ years of UNIX/Linux Administration experience At least 2+ years of experience with NoSQL or SQL database technologies Technical Skills Required:

Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, MemSQL, CockroachDB, Redis, or TigerDB Strong shell scripting skills in Unix/Linux Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Bladelogic, Ansible Knowledge of cluster management, replication, and multi-DC configurations Understanding of monitoring, backup/recovery, security, and user/role management Prior work in high-volume production environments Preferred Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible problem-solver
