General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:

Seeking photography lab technicians responsible for assisting students in printing film processing, scanning negatives, handling chemistry, monitoring digital/wet lab facilities and equipment, and tutoring students in darkroom techniques during open lab hours.

Opening / closing facilities at the beginning and end of shift. Signing in /out photographic equipment. Replenishing ink cartridges and paper as needed. Assisting students printing, film processing, scanning negatives, handling chemistry, monitoring digital wet lab facilities, tutor students in darkroom techniques and equipment during open lab hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Experience:

Experience with analog darkroom skills, digital cameras, large-format inkjet printers, and film processing is preferred but not required. Applicants should be outgoing, enthusiastic, and have an interest in learning the photographic process. Attention to detail, reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
