Connect Staffing is seeking a temporary MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator for a metal fabricating company in Los Alamitos, CA.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm with overtime as needed.
Requirements of a MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator
Minimum 1 year of experience in general labor and/or construction. Proven experience with MIG welding on carbon steel. The ability to safely use hand and power tools. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Effective communication skills. Reliable transportation. Experience welding aluminum or stainless steel is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities of a MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator
Perform MIG welding on various metal projects, primarily using carbon steel. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine layout and procedures. Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal parts. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear. Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
