Full Time After School / Summer SchoolProgram Director Ellsworth School Department • K–12 After-School & Summer Programming The Ellsworth School Department isimmediatelyseekingto hirea motivated Program Director to lead our 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) After School/Summer Schoolprogram. This is a unique opportunity to shape dynamic academic and enrichment opportunities for students in grades K–12 across Ellsworth Elementary Middle School and Ellsworth High School —after school and throughout the summer. This is a full time position. The ideal candidate will have the following professional qualities: Background in education, youth development, or program leadership Strong organizational and project management skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Position Details: Design & Lead High-Quality Programs Collaborate withadministrators,educators and students to build engaging academic and enrichment offerings. Oversee daily operations of after-school and summer programs. Coordinate schedules, staffing, and logistics across K–12. Support & Supervise Staff Recruit, onboard, and support a diverse team of instructors and staff. Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional program culture. Track Progress & Report Impact Monitor attendance and program participation. Evaluate effectiveness and prepare reports required by the grant. Manage Budget & Ensure Compliance Oversee program budget and ensure alignment with federal grant guidelines. Maintain thorough documentation and records. Engage with Community & Partners Build strong relationships with families, local organizations, and stakeholders. Represent the program at state and regional events and trainings. Lead for the Future Develop strategies to promote, sustain, and grow the program.
