Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Portland, OregonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $22 - 26 per hourWe are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Specialist to support a world-renowned sportswear brand. You will join the dynamic Running category, helping to execute marketing campaigns for cutting-edge footwear and apparel. If you are passionate about sports and have a knack for marketing, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact with an iconic brand.Responsibilities: Campaign Support: Help the marketing team plan and launch campaigns for new running products and community events. Team Collaboration: Work with various internal teams (like social media, retail, and PR) and external partners to help projects run smoothly from start to finish. Product Coordination: Manage all product samples for photoshoots, influencer partnerships, and events. This includes ordering, forecasting, and tracking inventory. Market Research: Keep up with the latest industry trends and what competitors are doing, sharing insights and ideas with the team. Reporting: Assist in tracking campaign performance and creating simple reports to highlight key results and learnings. Administrative Support: Help create marketing materials, schedule meetings, and handle other team needs as they arise. Qualifications: A genuine passion for and knowledge of sports, fitness, or fashion. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once. A positive, team-player attitude with strong communication skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a marketing or brand communications role. Experience in the sporting goods or a similar industry is a plus!
