Travel RN - Critical Care Float Pool | Albany, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Float Pool RN for a travel assignment in Albany, NY. This role is best suited for nurses with Level I Trauma Center experience and a proven ability to float across multiple ICU settings.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients across a variety of critical care environments
* Float between units as needed, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
* Deliver safe, evidence-based care while adapting quickly to different unit workflows
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
* Document all care accurately in Epic EMR
Requirements:
* Epic EMR experience - Required
* Level I Trauma Center experience - Highly preferred
* Experience floating across multiple ICU settings - Highly desired
* Must be comfortable managing patients with complex, high-acuity needs
* BLS & ACLS - Required
