A pioneering 3D concrete printing company is seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to assist with the development of large-scale robotic platforms and intricate end-effectors. Position Overview :
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of our 3D printing systems. This role involves designing precision components, producing manufacturing-ready drawings, and ensuring quality standards for machined parts. You’ll work closely with Systems Engineers and end-users to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and successful field deployment. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Product Design Engineering, or related field. Strong proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, Rhino 8, or equivalent). Experience creating machining drawing sets and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Proficiency with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Familiarity with material properties and manufacturing processes. Basic scripting (e.g., Python or Grasshopper) for parametric or generative mechanical design. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness and availability to travel up to 15% for on-site system deployment and support. Experience with digital fabrication tools and robotic systems (e.g., KUKA robotic arms) preferred. Exposure to software-hardware integration projects preferred. 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design and system design roles preferred. What We Offer : Salary : $90K - $110K.
