About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Fleet Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll transform raw fleet data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions, reduce costs, and improve safety and efficiency across our vehicle operations. You'll collaborate closely with fleet managers, maintenance teams, and vendors to ensure our fleet runs at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities Analyze vehicle performance data to uncover trends in fuel usage, maintenance, and operating costs. Monitor driver behavior (e.g., speeding, idling, harsh braking) and recommend strategies for safer, more efficient driving. Identify underperforming vehicles and assess cost-effectiveness of repairs vs. replacements. Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns and unexpected expenses. Use predictive analytics to forecast maintenance needs and optimize routes. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking key fleet KPIs. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, visual format. Benchmark fleet performance against historical data and industry standards. Research and implement best practices for cost control and fleet optimization. Support the rollout and integration of new fleet technologies and telematics systems. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule proactive repairs and reduce downtime. Assist with vehicle assignments, equipment ordering, and PO processing. Negotiate with vendors for repairs and pricing. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field-or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Familiarity with fleet management systems (e.g., Holman, Geotab, Surfsight, LeeTrans). Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes and DOT compliance. Preferred Skills
