About the Role A National Bank is seeking a seasoned

Finance Data Analyst & Application Support Engineer

to lead application support and financial systems operations. This senior-level role requires deep expertise in ACH processing, CICS, and PEP+ functionality, combined with strong leadership skills to mentor staff, manage escalations, and ensure seamless business-critical application performance. You will serve as both a

technical expert and team leader , driving root cause analysis, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and leading system improvements that directly impact the bank's financial operations.

Provide

leadership and direction

to the Application Support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to SLAs. Oversee the

implementation, integration, and support

of financial applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Lead the

incident and problem management process , serving as the final point of escalation and driving structured root cause analysis. Develop and enforce

Application Support standards, documentation, and procedures , ensuring consistency and reliability. Drive

continuous improvement initiatives , proactively identifying trends, error conditions, and opportunities for permanent fixes. Collaborate with business users and support staff to resolve complex issues involving financial and custom applications. Manage

strategic planning for application upgrades, releases, and migrations , ensuring business continuity. Mentor, train, and onboard new staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Produce clear and comprehensive

reports and technical documentation

for executive and business stakeholders. Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred. Proven leadership experience

managing technical teams and ensuring delivery of high-quality user support. Strong background in

ACH, CICS, and PEP+ systems . Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform structured root cause analysis. Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills. Significant experience ensuring delivery of

mission-critical financial applications
