Job Description

As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing new business applications, analyzing end-user requirements, and testing and integrating applications. Your daily responsibilities will vary based on the applications used by the company, but will include: Ensuring quality services are delivered and performed to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting or exceeding expectations. Assisting in the development and enhancement of computer application systems. Minimizing service disruptions and facilitating service restoration within agreed SLAs. Taking ownership of the Incident Management process, acting as the final point of technical escalation for application issues, and diagnosing root causes through structured investigation. Managing the life cycle of problems from identification through root cause analysis to the completion of remediation tasks. Conducting Root Cause Analysis to successfully identify the root causes of problems. Proactively identifying problem trends and known error conditions, working towards permanent solutions. Assisting in the training and induction of new staff into the Application Support team. Providing specialist professional advice and support related to the support of all applications. Undertaking strategic planning for application system upgrades, new releases, and migration to new systems both locally and nationally. Developing and maintaining Application Support standards, procedures, and documentation as required. Collaborating with business users and support staff to resolve issues involving custom applications.

Pay Information

Pay Rate: $70 - $75/hr on W2 Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range. ACH Business Acumen CICS PEP+ Functional Knowledge

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in staff management and leadership. Strong report writing and technical documentation skills. Significant experience in ensuring the delivery of high-quality user support.
