One Therapy Network
One Therapy Network
One Therapy Network is a therapy organization dedicated to helping practices build sustainable models for serving the underserved. Our team of hundreds of clinicians provides well over 100,000 therapy sessions each year to children and families across the country. We work with pediatricians and schools, educate therapy students, build clinics in low-income neighborhoods, and develop technology to better assist our team.
We’re looking for a
Director of Finance
to lead our finance function and join our leadership team. As we grow to serve over 1M patients a year, you’ll play a critical role in building the systems, strategies, and discipline that take us from “mom and pop” to best-in-class. Key Challenges You’ll Help Solve
Establishing Best-in-Class Practices
– Implement financial controls, reporting standards, and accounting best practices that position us for scale, sustainability, and compliance. Improving Margins & Forecasting
– Design and implement margin improvement strategies, refine financial forecasting models, and help leaders across the organization make better, data-driven decisions. Launching ONE Books
– Lead the rollout, adoption, and optimization of a new stand-alone product offering high-quality bookkeeping and tailored analysis tools for pediatric therapy clinics. The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has experience leading finance and accounting in a growing, multi-entity organization. They are comfortable building systems from the ground up, mentoring teams, and partnering with leaders across departments to bring financial clarity and discipline. They thrive at both the strategic and tactical levels—rolling up their sleeves to improve processes while keeping an eye on the big picture. Key strengths we’re looking for: Leadership & Communication
– A collaborative leader who explains financial concepts clearly, influences decision-making, and helps non-financial stakeholders feel confident about numbers. Accounting Expertise
– Strong foundation in GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards; experience consolidating multi-entity financials and preparing timely, accurate reports.
Operational Finance
– Skilled at overseeing day-to-day functions including bookkeeping, payroll, banking relationships, corporate insurance, and approvals (compensation, leases, contracts). Financial Oversight & Analysis
– Leads budgeting and forecasting processes, manages cash flow, and translates results into actionable insights for leadership and business units. Internal Controls & Compliance
– Develops and maintains strong controls; manages audits and tax filings (e.g., 1099s, Form 990). Systems & Service Orientation
– Capable of launching and scaling shared-service models such as ONE Books, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. HR & Administrative Oversight
– Provides leadership in HR administration, benefits compliance, and corporate governance responsibilities. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership. Public accounting and nonprofit experience strongly preferred. Skills: Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
