Clinical Social Worker , you will provide therapeutic services and coordinate care for children referred by social services, probation, or mental health agencies, focusing on stabilization and transition to permanent placements. Services are primarily delivered in community settings such as foster homes and schools. The role involves supporting resource parents through psychoeducation, coaching, and compliance guidance, while also collaborating with county partners. You will build a strong, culturally attuned relationships with clients and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help youth achieve their goals. ABOUT RESOURCE FAMILY The

program operates with a core belief that every child deserves a family. Families are recruited, trained, and certified to provide permanency and safety for children of all ages who are not able to remain with their family of origin. Some youth and children are impacted by behavioral, emotional, developmental, or medical challenges and many have experienced trauma and loss. The
Resource Family
program provides youth and children with the safety, stability, and support of a nurturing and trauma-informed family. In partnership with the county, the resource family program will match approved families with children who need homes and provide children and families with ongoing support and resources. Seneca serves youth across a variety of levels of care including traditional foster care, Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC), and Enhanced ISFC (ISFC+). In Santa Clara County, this role serves primarily the highest needs youth through the ISFC+ program. RESPONSIBILITIES Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable Participate in individual and/or group supervision QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time At least 21 years of age TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy PREFFERED: Bilingual Spanish skill set Experience working with children in out-of-home care Proficiency in culturally informed, evidence-based treatment modalities SCHEDULE Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm On-call; 2 times per month & 1 weekend day per quarter BENEFITS Starting at $87,418 - $101,418 per year, commensurate with experience Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam Salary increases each year $2,000 sign-on bonus!
