The

Program Director

is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the Santa Clara County Wraparound program to ensure the provision of high-quality, accessible, and responsive services for clients and families. The

Program Director

designs systems and strategies to achieve the program’s identified goals, oversees day-to-day operations, provides ongoing supervision and leadership to the program team, and manages the program budget. The

Program Director

engages effectively with clients, families, community and funding partners, and other programs in the Seneca continuum of care.

About Wraparound

The

Wraparound Program

in Santa Clara County provides culturally-sensitive, highly-coordinated intensive services to youth between the ages of 5-21 years of age and families with complex and enduring needs. Through a team and strengths-based approach, the mental health supports focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and well-being.

Wraparound

works in close partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health and Post-Adoption services to provide outcome-oriented services aimed to keep youth in their homes and community.

Wraparound

serves racially and ethnically diverse youth and families regardless of, but not limited to, their socio-economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and religion.

Responsibilities

Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to oversee the overall quality and operations of the program

Perform personnel functions for all staff, including overseeing hiring, professional development, supervision, evaluation, and termination

Provide direct supervision of program leadership team and other staff, as assigned

Provide leadership to the program staff team, cultivating a program culture that supports safety, engagement, collaboration, and ongoing learning

Cultivate effective partnerships with applicable county offices, school districts, law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other community providers, and facilitate effective training for partners as requested

Manage applicable program facilities to ensure safety and a warm and welcoming environment of care

Plan and maintain the program budget and take action to ensure financial sustainability

Engage in data-based program assessment activities to evaluate effectiveness and guide improvement

Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques that may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Master’s degree in Counseling/Social Work/Psychology

3 years of supervisory experience in a social work, education, direct care, or youth community care facility setting

Experience working with children with complex emotional/behavioral challenges

Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours

Be part of regional Director on-call rotation, scheduled ahead of time

At least 21 years of age

TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy

Preferred

Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed

2 years post licensure with eligibility to provide clinical supervision

Skilled in partnering with counties, schools, law enforcement, and providers

Experienced in budgeting and financial oversight

Schedule

Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

On-call (phone only), scheduled ahead of time

Benefits

Starting at $132,617 - $146,617 per year, commensurate with experience

Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure

Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam

Salary increases each year

$2,000 sign-on bonus!

Stipends provided to staff members participating in the emergency on-call shifts
