Responsible for providing departmental leadership in planning, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating the 24-hour operation of clinical areas. Ensures the provision of high-quality patient care services and business processes in accordance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of patient care services to achieve the department vision and fiscal year business plans, including new services and/or procedures. Proactively manages financial, capital, and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards. Implements corrective action as necessary. Ensures provision of nursing support as required in perioperative clinical areas to support quality-driven, cost-effective resource utilization. Responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of policies and processes to provide consistent operations.
