REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Missouri license and DEA required
• Board: BC/BE in Primary Care (not required); EM experience required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (ATLS only required for Medical Director); must be obtained within 6 months
• Experience: Prior EM experience required
• Other Qualifications:
• CME from past 2 years
• Procedure logs
• Flu, TB, Medical clearance
• BNDD license
• COVID vaccine or approved exemption
• MMR x2 or titers
• Varicella x2 or titers
• Hepatitis B antibody (quantitative)
• Tdap
• Quantiferon TB or 2-step PPD (or post-positive CXR)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 10-bed ED
• Work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage
• Treat a range of emergency presentations including trauma, minor care, and triage
• Accept moonlighting residents
• Accurately document care in Power Docs EMR
