• No. of Beds in Department: 38 ED Beds (including 8 Fast Track)
• Trauma Level: Level II
• EMR System: Cerner
• Support Staff Available: Scribes (40 hours/day), APPs (20 hours/day)
• Specialty Backup Available: Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center, Neuro, Cardiac Rehab

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active TX Medical License, TX DEA
• Board: ABEM BC/BE or Osteopathic Equivalent
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Additional Requirements: 2 years of CME and case logs, immunization records (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella), SS card, driver s license, color photo, EMR in-person training before first shift, 8 hrs stroke and 8 hrs trauma CME annually
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency care in a high-volume trauma center
• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary specialty teams
• Complete in-person EMR training before starting
