Our client is searching for an experience data professional who will work cross-functionally with stakeholders and help design, implement data model for Analytical, operational and transactional solutions. The Role
- Work with Architects, Engineers, Analysts and product owners, to design and manage the structure of an organization's data systems to optimize data storage, accessibility, and usability
- Develop data modeling standards, for analytical, operational and transactions databases
- Create data models for analytical, operational and transactional solutions
- Provide data modeling guidance and coaching to developers and engineer
- Work with data governance teams for data policies, lineage and cataloging
- Document and maintain data modeling artifacts
- 5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or Snowflake
- Experience with modeling tools required
- Direct experience with data modelling standards and guidelines
- Strong hands-on data modeling, ER diagram and enterprise software design experience for OLTP (relational) and analytical systems
- Proficiency with data catalog and data lineage toolset (E.g. Alation, Collibra)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer/data science
