Job Description
The IT Developer will support the IRM&TS Unit by developing, maintaining, and optimizing software applications critical to CBO's mission. This role requires expertise in full-stack development, cloud integration, and automation to ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical challenges, and implement best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, and CSS.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core Web API, WCF) and backend services.
- Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap, Chart.js), and responsive CSS.
- Implement cloud-based solutions (AWS) and manage relational databases (SQL Server), including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Conduct performance testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and deploy fixes.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
- Manage GitHub Enterprise repositories and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Provision and maintain development environments (local, virtual, cloud).
- Design deployment scripts and maintain artifact repositories.
- Apply secure coding practices and adhere to CBO's security protocols.
- Install/upgrade software as needed.
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, SQL).
- Expertise in front-end frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, Chart.js) and back-end services (Web API, MVC).
- Proficiency in database management (SQL Server, stored procedures, query optimization).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and GitHub Enterprise.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
Required Education & Preferred Certifications
- Active Public Trust Clearance or above
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Developer, CompTIA Security+, GitHub Actions Certification, CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
