Core Duties:
Instead of being siloed into one HR function, you'll get to touch every corner of HR. On any given day, you might be:
- Guiding employees through benefits and payroll questions while ensuring accuracy in every paycheck.
- Acting as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, helping navigate workplace concerns and building positive relationships.
- Driving performance conversations forward, supporting reviews and recognition programs that celebrate success.
- Partnering with managers to bring in great talent, from sourcing to onboarding, and making sure every new hire feels welcome from day one.
- Supporting employees through leaves of absence or workers' comp situations with care, clear communication, and compliance.
- Keeping policies and practices current so the company stays ahead of California and federal employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of generalist experience, ideally supporting 200+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of CA and federal employment laws.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Payroll experience (ADP is a plus).
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) a bonus.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and adaptable to new HR systems.
