Are you called to a meaningful career advocating for children and families in crisis through your work in human resources? 4KIDS is seeking a HR Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations and focus on building strong relationships across the organization, fostering a culture of trust, fun, collaboration, and spiritual encouragement.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong supportive relationships with employees and managers at all levels Manage and perform annual employee background screening process and new hire background screening process Implement employee onboarding process from offer letter through first 90 days of employment Contribute to a positive and fun workplace by participating in culture keepers meetings and planning and executing staff culture events, i.e., weekly staff devo, quarterly staff engagement activities, new hire celebration, annual staff retreat, etc. Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and update policies and practices to maintain compliance Manage benefit enrollment, billing, audits, and support employees with benefit questions Assist with annual employee compliance audits Manage ADP Workforce Now database and online employee files to ensure accurate and up-to-date Support managers and employees with HR-related questions, including performance, leave, and conflict resolution Review bi-monthly payroll processing for accuracy Complete all tasks associated with transitions, promotions, and separations within 4KIDS
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2-5 years of HR generalist experience preferred Committed Christian with alignment with 4KIDS statement of faith Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Knowledge of HR compliance and best practices Experience in a nonprofit or faith based ministry setting preferred Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and grace Ability to counsel staff using the Bible PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
