seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Title Clerk
to join our team on a part-time or full-time position.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive title work and be responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior dealership experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process new and used vehicle title paperwork (including wholesale deals, lease buyouts, and dealer trades).
Submit necessary documents to the DMV in a timely manner.
Verify that all title paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with state regulations.
Maintain current knowledge of title laws and regulations across applicable states.
Process payoffs and obtain lien releases.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Reconcile title discrepancies and resolve any title issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and DMV offices.
Prepare and submit reports as needed.
Requirements: Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of DMV regulations and title processing procedures. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficient with dealership DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience:
