Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Timing : 6:45 AM – 7:15 P Job Description: Medical Surgical travel nurse job activities match staff nurse responsibilities and include: Provides safe and comprehensive nursing care according to state regulations, hospital policy and procedure and Joint Commission standards. Demonstrates understanding and utilization of universal precautions, asepsis and infection control procedures. Operate and monitor equipment used to monitor and regulate the patient’s condition. Assesses the need for patient/family instruction. Make rounds on all patients on the team.
