Workflow Support Specialists
JTG is currently seeking experienced Workflow Support Specialists to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Northern Virginia area. Workflow Support Specialists are responsible for assisting Translators and Exploitation Specialists with technology-based efforts of all tasks, as well as managing and maintaining translation memories and terminology databases and assigning tasks to Translators and Editors. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:
Support activities that rely on Computer Assisted Technology (CAT) tools, post-edited machine-translation, adaptive machine translation, speech-to-text, including Human Language Technology (HLT) capabilities
Support data analytics activities that enable more efficient, timely, and in-depth understanding of trends, patterns, and relationships in large, diverse vernacular dataset
Establish and document repeatable workflows and create project packages
Help troubleshoot problems and digitize hardcopy materials
Support translation projects throughout the full life cycle
Provide methodological support to projects, particularly from a data conditioning, tools, baselining, and discovery perspective
Basic Qualifications:
U.S citizenship
Technical degree
Three years of relevant experience
Attention to detail and ability to learn new skills
Ability to find creative solutions to problems and needs while processing large amounts of information
Strong organizational skills as a contributor to a virtual team
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior computer skills, including MS Office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with HLT, CAT, and machine translation tools
Prior training or coursework in metadata, webs and text analytics, information visualization, and data management
This position reports to the Task Manager.
