Job Description: Position Details: Competitive pay: Average driver first year pay ranges between $70,000 - $80,000 Schedule: Enjoy a work week from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off, and you will be home every night. No over-the-road (OTR) driving required. We Deliver the Goods:

Our drivers ensure that products arrive safely and on time, while also representing our company and building lasting relationships with customers!

The Driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver and unload food and related products, both locally and across interstate routes, in adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role involves professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and collaboration within the team to fulfill all service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct all necessary safety checks (e.g., pre/post trip inspections) of the vehicle and trailer, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Report any safety concerns or required repairs immediately. Observe all DOT regulations and company safety policies while driving; report safety hazards promptly. Perform item count checks and verify customer invoices for loaded products. Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Operate the vehicle to the loading dock and connect preloaded trailers as needed. Drive along pre-determined routes to deliver customer orders on schedule. Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated storage areas for customers. Conduct damage checks on items and communicate with supervisors regarding any issues. Confirm delivery with customers by obtaining necessary signatures. Collect payment (cash or checks) when required. Load customer returns onto the trailer and ensure doors are secured. Keep vehicle and freight secured at all times. Handle damaged goods and customer returns appropriately. Maintain cleanliness in the vehicle, loading dock, and trailers. At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and finalize paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid Class B CDL. Meet all state licensing and certification requirements. Must be at least 21 years old. Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Pass a post-offer drug test and background check. Successfully complete a road test. Possess a valid DOT Health Card or be able to obtain one. Able to lift and move product cases weighing between 10-90 pounds using appropriate lifting equipment.
