Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $38.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Mission Staffing Our client, a well-known financial services firm in Greenwich, CT, is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their team! This role will focus on supporting the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and general ledger management. The Corporate Accountant will also assist with reconciliations, reporting, and special projects as needed. Responsibilities Include: Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Assisting with month-end close and preparation of journal entries Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts Supporting the preparation of financial reports and schedules Collaborating with internal teams on expense tracking and reporting Assisting with ad hoc accounting projects as needed Requirements: 2–10 years of corporate accounting experience from a professional services or financial services firm Strong understanding of core accounting functions: AP, AR, month-end, GL Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus Seniority level
