The successful candidate will synthesize and study correlated and low-dimensional magnetic materials, with a focus on quantum materials synthesis and characterization. Key Responsibilities: Synthesize and analyze structural, magnetic, and electronic properties of magnetic materials. Collaborate with students and researchers, participate in grant writing, and contribute to publications and reports. Travel for research collaborations as needed. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or related field by the start date. Strong expertise in quantum materials synthesis and characterization techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Programming skills are highly desirable; fabrication experience is a plus. Contract Details: Duration: Two years, with an initial one-year appointment and possible extension based on performance. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
