Job Summary
Serve as a student ambassador for the Office of Honor by upholding and educating current and potential students of BYU-Hawaii on the CES Honor Code and Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
Primary Responsibilities
Serve and collaborate as a member of the Student Honor Team to plan and implement activities and events focused on the CES Honor Code. Educate students about the CES Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations. Support New Student Orientation (NSO) by creating educational engagement activities that highlight principles of the CES Honor Code. Keep detailed notes of the process, implementation, and outcomes of Student Honor Team engagement activities, observations, and events. Greet students who enter the office, answer questions and respond to emails regarding the essential functions of the Office of Honor.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the strategic planning within the Office of Honor by offering feedback from a student perspective.
Education
Lower Division Courses Completed
Work Experience
Three months of relevant experience
Ability to create content and maintain approved digital presence on social media
PeopleSoft software skills
Preference
At least a two-semester commitment to this position within the Office of Honor
Certification in Social Media Marketing preferred
Office Hours
Student employment hours typically worked during the Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm workday
Physical Demands
Typical office environment
Base Rate Per Hour:
14.00
Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
