Summary:

As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered

organization this role is accountable for providing overall leadership for Community Initiatives

through strategic planning and direction to assigned territory ensuring national campaign

standards are followed and peer to peer fundraising initiatives achieve revenue goals for the

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Territory, Region, and Market Staff with Community Initiatives responsibility

Duties & Responsibilities

Mission Integration Partner with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources and priorities. Responsible for ensuring assigned markets deliver mission centered, high impact activities Strategic Planning On-going, highly comprehensive and innovative strategic planning for each campaign fundraising event in the territory, directing the roadmap that will ensure revenue goals are achieved Lead campaign standard revenue stream strategy and develop tools with the Senior Director and VP of Campaign Development - Community Initiatives for turn-key field execution Actively and thoroughly examine comprehensive revenue and leadership trends for opportunities and threats to ensure sustained year over year revenue growth and to shape overall campaign strategy Staff Leadership & Development Coach, model and train key staff in assigned territory on initiative campaign standards and strategies Collaborate with Region and Territory leadership to evaluate staff performance against both campaign standards and execution of the event specific strategic roadmap Collaborate with Region and Territory leadership to hire talented high impact revenue teams Innovation in High Impact Fundraising Identify areas for breakout revenue growth Identify revenue expansion opportunities and to grow volunteer and corporate relationships throughout LLS Perform other related duties as assigned Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote Organizational initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications preferred. 6–8 years of progressively responsible experience in peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising, community initiatives, or related campaign leadership roles. Proven track record of driving campaign excellence through strategic planning, team leadership, and revenue growth. Demonstrated success in leading high-impact campaigns, including: Securing sponsorships of $100K+ Recruiting and managing C-suite level volunteers from top-tier employers Leading corporate teams raising $100K+ Delivering 20%+ year-over-year growth in top metro markets Executing $1M+ fundraising events with complex stakeholder engagement Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior-level executives and corporate partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to translate insights into action. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven nonprofit environment and manage competing priorities with excellence.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $136,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
