Vaco Technology is seeking a Lead Solution Architect for a Direct-Hire role in Irving, TX. The Lead Solution Architect will design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions, drive cloud strategy and architecture, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless platform integration. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, cost-efficient, and future-proof solutions aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities
Architect Scalable Cloud Solutions:
Design and implement highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud architectures to meet evolving business needs. Drive Cloud Strategy / Governance:
Define and enforce cloud best practices, policies, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and security. Lead Multi-Cloud / Hybrid Deployments:
Manage cloud migrations and optimize deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring smooth transitions and integrations. Champion Security / Compliance:
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect data and infrastructure. Innovate with Automation / DevOps:
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions to improve development speed and reliability. Foster Collaboration / Leadership:
Partner with business leaders, developers, and operations teams to align cloud solutions with strategic goals. Facilitate workshops and discussions to promote innovation. Optimize Performance / Cost:
Continuously assess and refine cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. About the Project
The Lead Solution Architect combines strategic vision with practical design and leadership, ensuring modern, scalable enterprise systems. The role involves hands-on coding, web development, and integration tasks, including designing DevOps pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestrating workloads. Additionally, the architect will enable insights by integrating and analyzing enterprise data using cloud-based solutions. JOB REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience as a Lead Solution Architect focusing on cloud solutions Hands-on development experience with C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, jQuery Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, automation Knowledge of cloud technologies such as NodeJS, PowerShell (Azure), Terraform, VueJS/ReactJS, Docker, Kubernetes Data solutions experience with PowerBI, Azure ML, Azure DataFactory Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban, Agile Compensation depends on skills, experience, certifications, location, and organizational needs.
