TEAM OVERVIEW KKR’s Global Operations team enables the firm’s businesses by supporting the lifecycles of our investments, investors, and funds from one global operating platform. Leveraging a data-driven approach, the team’s operating verticals align with our businesses to ensure that we are able to provide best in class service to internal and external stakeholders while using technology, process, and location as tools to adapt and scale. The business area is comprised of the Client Services, Treasury, Private Market Operations, Data Operations, and Global Credit Investment Operations teams. POSITION SUMMARY KKR has an enterprise data operations group to collect, manage, and harness the power of data across our diverse business activities. Given the criticality of Portfolio Company (PortCo) data to KKR’s Private Markets business, a dedicated Portfolio Company Data Operations function has been established to service our Private Equity and Infrastructure businesses. Structured within the broader Global Data Operations organization, this team is tasked with ensuring all Portfolio Company financials are controlled, consumable, and curated to deliver transparent & impactful insights to key internal & external constituents. The PortCo Data Operations team is seeking to hire a Senior Professional or Manager based in Boston, MA to support Americas Private Equity and Infrastructure data management and performance reporting/analysis efforts. The candidate will work closely with Private Equity deal teams, KKR Capstone, and KKR Capital Markets teams to lead the KKR internal portfolio monitoring process and associated technology platform. While driving continuous transformation & improvement, this role will also assist with the execution of the on-going processes of Portfolio Company on-boarding, data quality management, and analytics to meet the evolving needs of both regional & global leadership. This position will report to the Americas Lead – Vice President, Portfolio Company Data Operations. The ideal candidate would have the unique combination of financial acumen, strong data analysis & technical skills, and a passion/interest in private markets investing. The candidate should also have an interest in embracing new technologies (AI), have strong verbal/written communication skills, and be a good cultural fit with an emphasis on collaboration, excellence, and action-oriented results. RESPONSIBLITIES Maintain and analyze Americas Private Equity and Infrastructure portfolio company financial data, ensuring end-to-end data integrity and a unified source of truth throughout the company lifecycle—including onboarding, operational monitoring, and exit analysis. Manage the recurring financial data collection efforts for Americas Private Equity and Infrastructure, ensuring that data is clean and accurate and operational processes are high quality and repeatable. Produce quarterly performance reporting and analytics across strategies, working closely with deal teams to synthesize financial and operational data to produce actionable insights for portfolio management committees and senior leadership. Monitor data quality controls to ensure PortCo data completeness & accuracy, helping with the processing of any / all corrective maintenance required to remediate identified data issues in a timely manner. Operate the internal data platform (Chronograph) within the region, resolving technical and data-related inquiries and leveraging platform to optimize user experience and engagement. Provide a best-in-class client data experience by producing quarterly LP reports, managing ad hoc data requests, and addressing due diligence queries in collaboration with KKR’s Client Services team. Generate high-impact reports and dashboards to support data-driven insights across Americas portfolio companies, responding to ad hoc data requests as needed. Act as a trusted resource for data-related questions and updates from various internal and external groups, such as PortCo contacts and deal teams. Collaborate with the Global Data Operations team, to provide flexible support to all data initiatives and global functions, as necessary. Participate in all PortCo related data initiatives globally across KKR to provide data & analytics support wherever this dataset is leveraged. Collaborate with regional team members across offices and time zones in support of these initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred. 2-6 years of experience in a data-intensive role within financial services, private equity, asset management, or a comparable institutional environment. Intermediate SQL skills to manipulate data (experience with joins, unions, views, etc.). Understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and the private equity ecosystem. Hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools to support analyses. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill data into insights. Strong cultural fit – collaborative, intellectually curious, action-oriented, and committed to high standards of excellence and accountability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to be detail-oriented across multiple competing priorities. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS Buy-side exposure with experience in asset/ investment management. Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, etc. Experience with Private Equity Portfolio Monitoring tools such as Chronograph, iLEVEL, Cobalt, etc. Knowledge of Private Markets / Private Company data, trends and analytics.
