Position Summary St. Johns River State College is accepting applications for a part-time Outreach and Graphic Designs Coordinator at the Thrasher-Horne Center. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Marketing Manager with graphic design, website maintenance, outreach, and special projects to increase the Center's visibility and brand recognition. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of marketing strategies and brand awareness, with experience in graphic design, outreach, and event support. About the College - SJR State is a public college located in beautiful northeast Florida along the shores of the St. Johns River. With three campuses in Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns counties, SJR State serves nearly 10,000 students each year from among a population base of 600,000 in one of the fastest-growing areas of the country. Duties and Responsibilities

OUTREACH & EVENT SUPPORT

Coordinate and manage Thrasher-Horne Center outreach at community events to increase brand visibility. Assist with pre-show preparations, including setting up the lobby, organizing the marketing table, and supporting night-of-show activities (e.g., social media photography, meet-and-greet coordination). Capture high-quality event photos for promotional and internal use. Assist with gallery operations, including securing artists and coordinating gallery openings. Facilitate artist interviews and generate story leads under the direction of the Marketing Manager. GRAPHIC DESIGN & MARKETING SUPPORT

Assist in the design and completion of artwork for productions, events, and promotional materials. Support print advertising campaigns, including obtaining vendor quotes for materials. Provide administrative support including invoices, tear sheets, and content editing. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on marketing projects and special assignments. WEB & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

Regularly review and update website content, including images, documents, and verbiage. Provide SEO and user experience improvement suggestions to the Marketing Manager. Stay current with social media trends and recommend features to enhance the Center's online presence.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. • Courses in business administration, social media, journalism, customer service management, or marketing preferred. • Direct customer service experience required. • Marketing and communications experience preferred. • Computer knowledge required. • A comparable amount of training or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.
