About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established manufacturer of machining centers, is seeking a bilingual
Sales & Technical Support Specialist
to join their growing team in Cincinnati, OH. This role will involve supporting equipment sales and installation, facilitating communication between English- and Japanese-speaking teams, and providing interpretation and translation support for technical and business discussions.
Key Responsibilities Promote and support the sale of machining centers to automotive and manufacturing clients Act as an interpreter and translator (Japanese English) during meetings, site visits, emails, and documentation Support installation projects and coordinate with engineers and customer teams Handle general office tasks including report preparation, email correspondence, and participation in conference calls Collaborate with cross-cultural teams locally and abroad Travel for business domestically and internationally as required Preferred Qualifications Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal) Experience in the automotive or industrial equipment sector Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills Ability to travel internationally (e.g., Japan, Mexico, Canada) Valid U.S. driver's license Familiarity with Japanese business culture and work style
