At MyAgData, we are hiring a
Senior Software Engineer . Under the direction of the IDM Chief Operating Officer, you will help design, develop, test, and enhance our software products. The role requires proven ability to interact with our software development team and to assist in all layers of software development and the software development life cycle. We have a C#/.NET web application hosted in Windows Azure. You must have experience with these languages, frameworks, and platforms, as well as proficiency with Visual Studio IDE and Visual Studio Online for source control. Our application is deployed in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud. Cloud experience is a plus but not necessary. Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Software development on front-end and back-end applications processing geospatial and large datasets Collaborate with leadership and business teams to deliver superior user experiences Lead discussions on architecture based on experience with SaaS applications Test software and work with QA team to develop test cases Review team work via pull requests and provide developmental feedback to junior and intermediate developers Identify and fix design or functional issues in existing applications Enforce development standards and best practices Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility Hands-on experience implementing ASP.NET web applications Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Creative thinking abilities Broad knowledge of web and software design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Hands-on troubleshooting and technical analysis skills Technical Requirements
Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud providers for mission-critical applications Experience with SaaS Experience with MVC, Entity Framework, or Blazor Experience with .NET, C#, SQL Proficiency with Visual Studio Accountability
In collaboration with IDM Management and the technology team, work to architect, design, develop, and implement software aligned with COMPANY policies and objectives
