Are you an experienced Project Engineer in electrical contracting looking to take the next step in your career? Join a trusted leader in electrical construction based in the San Francisco Bay Area! About the Role: We’re seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support our growing team of Project Managers. This on-site role involves coordinating and executing multiple electrical projects, collaborating closely with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery. What You’ll Do: Assist Project Managers through all project phases—from preconstruction to closeout Coordinate schedules with field teams, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors Support procurement, quantity take-offs, and material tracking Manage RFIs, change orders, proposals, and other documentation Review and interpret project drawings and specifications Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation Participate in project meetings and site walks to monitor progress Serve as a solutions-focused liaison among clients, field teams, and internal staff Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry codes What We’re Looking For: Proven Project Engineering experience in electrical contracting (required) Skilled in construction documentation, scheduling, and estimating Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and estimating software is a plus Competitive base salary of $120,000+ with overtime pay Performance-based bonuses 100% company-paid comprehensive healthcare (including full family coverage) 401(k) plan with profit sharing and matching Company-issued gas card for work travel If you’re ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic team and advance your career in electrical construction, apply today!
