In the role of Interior Designer, you'll be responsible for: Supporting interior design scope development for medium & large healthcare projects in the Kansas City studio. Design and documentation support for projects such as the University of Kansas Health System – Cancer Center and the Children’s Mercy Tower Project. Possessing a strong working knowledge of interior design and architectural documentation practices. Being a self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively, with strong communication, presentation, documentation skills, and a professional understanding of the interior design process from programming to construction administration. Maintaining a positive attitude and focus on collaboration, even in challenging circumstances. Having strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino (or similar), Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: LEED AP certification WELL AP certification Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture At least 5 years of relevant experience in a design firm environment NCIDQ certification Interior Design license in the applicable state or province What We Believe: HDR is our company.
